About the city
The most visited Czech spa town which used to be one of the most famous spa towns in Europe. Stroll through the colonnades and taste the local thermal springs - there are 13 main springs and numerous smaller ones. The spa zone is located in a valley of the Teplá river surrounded by mountains which give great opportunity to hike and make beautiful pictures.
The most massive hot spring that gushes up to a height of 12 meters. Its temperature is 72 °C (162 °F) which makes it the warmest thermal spring in the Czech Republic. It is being cooled down so you can taste it just like the other springs.
Diana Observation Tower
Take a funicular to get to the Diana Tower - there you can see the city nicely from above. After you enjoy the view, continue walking down via the Deer Jump lookout back to the Teplá river valley.
